Start Off STRONG
On April 7, RFS played host to more than 90 families at the Richland County Sheriff’s Department Region 1 Substation for Start Off STRONG. Representatives from SC WIC, Power In Changing, SC Infant Mental Health Association and more were on hand to connect families to resources that can help alleviate family stress and build a brighter future for children.
“Now more than ever, our families need us – organizations, governmental agencies, businesses, communities, neighborhoods, faith-based groups and individuals – to join together,” Richland First Steps CEO Marcia Bacon said. “When we support families, we become a stronger, more resilient community, and children grow up happy, healthy and safe.”
