The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is a professional membership organization that works to promote high-quality early learning for all young children, birth through age 8, by connecting early childhood practice, policy, and research. Their website is a tremendous resource for anyone caring for young children, with a wealth of articles and training resources on some of early childhood’s trickiest challenges.

NAEYC Accreditation Standards provide a framework for quality in early childhood education programs and make it easier for parents to find high quality learning environments for their children.
