As a parent, you are the most important person in your child’s life. It is crucial that you spend quality time with your baby so that he/she:

- Learns to get along with people
Things you can do with infants:
- Talk to your child as you go through your day. Vary your tone and volume. “Baby talk” is not necessary
- Sing to your baby
- Make puppets from old socks or gloves and use them with your child
- Have fun together at bath time
- Take walks with your baby and talk about what you see
- Let your baby lie on and touch different fabrics and textures
- Look at brightly colored books together.
- Play peek-a-boo and patty cake.
