The Excellence in Care and Early Learning (ExCEL) annual conference will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 8 AM – 2 PM at Shandon United Methodist Church, 3407 Devine Street, Columbia, SC 29205.
Join Richland First Steps for a day to help put the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) into your teaching practice. Keynote session from the BenAnna Band, who are known for their fun, engaging methods for using music in the classroom. Breakout sessions with Ben and Anna, Richland Library, and EdVenture Children’s Museum will give you hands on ideas and techniques to use in your classroom.
Classroom teachers and center directors of 2022-23 ExCEL team centers get first priority for registration. If space is still available after all ExCEL team centers have registered, other child care providers working in Richland County may register.
